Brenton's Updates 09/02/09

Brenton had been having headaches and some nausea while exercising. He was examined by a Nurse practitioner at work who referred him out for a MRI of his brain. The MRI revealed what was thought to be a Glioma in the left temporal area of his brain. He was then referred to Dr. Anderson a Neurosurgeon in Boise, Idaho.

Brenton was seen today by Dr. Anderson, the Neurosurgeon, who thought the tumor look more like a Astrocytoma. Brenton was told that the area of the brain the tumor is located in, can possibly affect his speech. He will have surgery in approximately two weeks in Boise and at that time the tumor will be evaluated to determine its exact kind and nature. We are all very positive about the news today.

We are having a special family fast for Brenton and his family this Sunday September 6, 2009. Please keep all of them in your prayers.

    Hey Brenton,
    Im so sorry to here about all of this, I just want you to know that I love you tuns! and you are in my thoughts and prayers! I know you will make it through all of this, and be able to live your life happy! I miss seeing you and your beautifull family, and i will try to come up to see you this weekend if i can.
    I also wanted to tell you that i know my Dad will be there right by your side through all of this Brenton, He loved you so much!

    hey brenton get better me my mom and tyler and treena know how tuff of a guy you are i have always been real close to your family and have been meaning to come visit you guys in the summer i plan on doing so next summer i had fun when you came visited this summer at the lake it was a blast you know if you need help you can call anyone in the family thanks for all the times i have spent with you talking sports or just hanging out your like a dad/ brother to me love you

    Trini I read about Brenton and I am sorry to hear that your family is going through all this.
    I truly wish there was something I could do for you, Brenton and the children.
    Please no that you are all in my prayers as you are alway's. But also remember that the power of prayer is so very strong and can sometimes preform miracles...you are both already blessed even though you may not think so right now, because you both have the unity of family that love and care for Brenton and your family. Trini you must be stronger now then you have ever been in life because Brenton will need you more now then ever! But together with love and faith you can reach for the stars and overcome anything!
